When a Recipient is Not at the Address Given
For residential deliveries if the recipient is not home, we will leave the arrangement at the recipients door if the area is secure, and call the recipient to inform them about the delivery. We may also choose to leave the arrangement with a neighbor or the manager and attach a note on the recipient’s door stating who accepted the arrangement on their behalf. If these options are not possible we will attempt to call the recipient to see what they would like us to do. If we cannot reach the recipient we will leave a note on the door for them to call us back and arrange a convenient time for us to re-delivery or pick up.
For business deliveries, if the recipient is not there and is due to return that day, we will leave the flowers there with a signature of the person that is accepting the flowers. If the business is closed and we are not able to reach the recipient, we will contact the sender and attempt the delivery the next business day.
For Hospital deliveries, if the recipient has already been released we’ll contact the sender and schedule a delivery to the residence if the recipient lives within the local delivery area.
In order to avoid delays, please make sure the recipient’s information is accurate and complete. This would include the apartment or space number, and if its a business the business name, suite number if needed, and most especially a current phone number where they can be reached.Every order is important to us because we know how important it is to you. We always do our best to accommodate our customers delivery needs. However, we are not always able to guarantee at a specific time of day, especially during busy holiday periods. To request a specific delivery time, please type it into the Special Delivery Instruction field during check out. Before major holidays we strongly recommend that you place your orders several days in advance.
